More Than Sparrows

I remembered one moment of my life where I am so broken that I felt every aspect of my life is crashing down.

It was so devastating that I felt so small as compared to those people around me. And then God reminded me of the bible verse Matthew 10:31 "...you are of more value than many sparrows." We often anchor our self-worth on how big our bank accounts, how many our socmed likes, or how people approve us. But there could only one person whom we can accurately measure of worth and that is on the eyes of our Creator.

So that's what inspired me to create this artwork. I am valued more than many sparrows.

I used flat graphic illustration with Japanese woodblock inspiration. But I incorporate Baybayin characters insteadm and it read "Higit pa sa maraming maya" which is part of Matthew 10:31 in Tagalog form.
